I think the oven would be the best option, wrapped in foil. Or if itโ€™s just a few slices the microwave would suffice.

Your comment showed you used 1 tablespoon garlic. Perhaps that is why it was too strong. The recipe calls for teaspoon, not tablespoon of either minced or granulated.

I didn’t know that 1 tablespoon minced garlic was equal to 6 medium cloves. I just put in 6, some were very large. It put me off from doing garlic bread like this again! Too strong!

We all loved this! I could only find the big Italian bread loaf at my store and do think I would prefer French bread (only because it’s a bit less fluffy so I think cheese would be more pronounced). I used extra virgin olive oil and honestly couldn’t even taste it so for me, no need to buy light olive oil. Thank you for a great recipe!
