I haven’t tried freezing it yet but I’m guessing it would freeze pretty well, maybe just a little crystallized since it’s not processed in an ice cream maker. Something that can help reduce this is stirring it occasionally as it freezes.

I’ve been doing this for years, using my preferred non caloric sweetener instead of honey. We call it “yogurt mousse” and use it for making berry fool and as a topping on baked pumpkin custard or simply as a light, creamy, indulgent dessert on it’s own.

Clearly a wonderful decadent recipe where you know what you are eating! Can’t wait to try. Today I already make this sans the heavy cream for breakfast. Question – have you frozen this to eat like frozen yogurt? I definitely will try if not as the heavy cream adds the dessert element. Thank you for this recipe!
