Easily the best gravy I have made. I made it exactly as the recipe said and it turned out fantastic. Used it with smoked chicken (no drippings) and mashed potatoes.

This is excellent and easy! You need to know that this gravy is not second-rate to gravy made with hard-earned drippings, and much healthier than what comes out of envelopes. I also halved it for the two of us and did not add cream. The taste is fabulous! We had left-overs enough to use again, though I wanted to keep eating all of it! By the way, I used granulated onion and garlic, rather than powdered. The flavors were wonderful while not being overwhelming.

I halved the recipe for the two of us. It was plenty of gravy for two meals of thin sliced baked chicken breasts. I did not add cream, as we felt that the sauce was just right without it. To reheat, I microwaved at 50% power in 40 second intervals.

At least I have a little more confidence to give it a go with your easy to understand instructions. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Thank you for this recipe. Gravy is always one of those things that intimidated me.
