When I set out to create this recipe I was originally just going to go with the classic chocolate chip cake. But of course I couldn't stop there because who doesn't love multiple options?

The chocolate chip version is chewy and buttery and tastes just like a classic chocolate chip cookie with a chocolate frosting upgrade swirling around the edges.

If you are a chocolate fan the double chocolate cookie cake is for you. It's made with rich Dutch cocoa, has a tempting fudgy texture and it's not just made with a chocolate base. It's also dotted with chocolate chips and finished with a decadent chocolate frosting.

And if you are a chewy and sweet sugar cookie fan and love sprinkles the funfetti sugar cookie cake is the one you'll love.

These are such a fun change from the classic fluffy cake for a birthday and people of all ages will enjoy them, because who doesn't love cookies?

Frosted Christmas Tree Cookies

A simple cookie recipe that is actually baked more like bars to begin to simplify the process. After it's baked it is then cut into wedges, or individual cookies, and decorated from there.

No chilling dough, no rolling dough and no cookie cutters required. This version is all about being easy.

I made these with my kids this weekend for a fun baking project and I thought they were too good not to share.

I shared a recipe many years back for these, but I've realized over the years I wasn't using enough butter. More butter equals more flavor, more moisture and an even more tender cookie bar (along with a little bit of cornstarch).

Sure the recipe says it makes 24 bars but I would definitely plan on 2 per person, these are simply too tempting!

I first discovered these gourmet cookies thanks to my Husband. He lived in Argentina for a few years and they were one of his favorite treats there so of course I had to learn how to make them.

I can't understand why these delicious dulce de leche filled, shortbread-like cookies aren't super popular here in the United States. These cookies melt in your mouth!

Surprisingly enough I like these cookies best the second day. Just after adding the dulce de leche to cookies are still nice and crisp but after resting the moisture of the dulce de leche soaks into the cookies and makes them deliciously tender. Which would you prefer crisp or soft and tender?

Christmas Crack Recipe - AKA Saltine Cracker Toffee

This easy and addictive Christmas Crack is a staple treat recipe that should made at least once every year when the holidays roll around.

There's no special candy know-how or candy equipment required! Plus, it only uses a few basic pantry staple ingredients. It's just one of those straight-forward, foolproof recipes that's been around for decades.

You just let the sugar butter mixture boil for a few minutes, spread it over the crackers in a baking sheet, let it bake for a few minutes then dot with chocolate chips and let them melt and spread even. Let it chill and set then CRACK away. Super simple!

This is one of those easy treats that’s likely to become a yearly holiday tradition. Not only is this Christmas popcorn a breeze to make but people of all ages love it! It’s so good it's hard to know when to stop eating it!

You only need 5 ingredients and a very basic kitchen know-how for this one. Plus it’s one of those things the kids will love to help with, they can add all the sprinkles.

I like to divide them into treat bags tied with a ribbon and gift tag and take them around for Christmas treats. And now one needs to know how simple it was.

Isn't funfetti what we all think of when we think childhood favorite birthday cake? Even to this day it's still one of my favorites and always will be. But trust me, now making it from scratch you'll love it so much more!

It's fun and easy to make. Yes it  may require the extra step of whipping up the egg whites but the fluffy end result is so worth it!

This homemade recipe far outdoes a box cake mix. The flavor is a thousand times better plus it's naturally flavored with real vanilla and almond extract, and made with real butter.

It also includes a little bit of oil to ensure the cake stays moist.

After many years of testing cakes I'd have to say this is the ultimate birthday cake!

Can I Use Different Types of Sprinkles?

Colored sugar, crystal sprinkles, or jimmies will work great here. Nonpareils add a bit of a crunch, fine sugar sprinkles will add a faint crunch and jimmies will be soft. If using colored sugar you'll likely only need 1/2 cup since they're finer.

Recipe for One Extra Large Christmas Cookie

If you're like me come Christmas eve you don't have much time to make a full batch of cookies - so this is going to be our new go-to tradition.

One big cookie just for Santa that only took minutes to prep!

It's got perfectly crisp edges, a soft and chewy center and it has chocolate in every bite.
