Hi Sherwood – yes you would want to refrigerate the dressing. If the olive oil solidifies let it rest at room temp for a bit. I’m so glad you’ve had success with my recipes. :)

I really enjoyed the results. My question is do I need to refrigerate my left over vinaigrette dressing? F.Y.I. I make many dishes using your recipes and I enjoy the ones that I’ve tried with my low sodium substitutes. Thank you for the recipes you have published. Please keep them coming.

Good tip on tossing the diced apple into the vinaigrette!

It really elevates the recipe. I also use baby spinach . I forgot to add that I also tossed the apples when they are diced up into the dressing so they don’t brown .

After it’s sat for a few hours they may start to brown a bit, it varies depending on the batch of apples and how much they’ve been coated in the acidic dressing which reduces browning. But by then the salad would be soggy anyway, this is a recipe you want to serve shortly after dressing :)

I use Kirklands regular olive oil for this dressing.
